Chinese Super League entered round 21 today with Beijing Guoan visiting Tianjin city and Haihe Stadium to face Axel Witsel’s Quanjian.
Cannavaro’s men needed 18 minutes to open the score with Dalun Zheng tapping the ball in for the 1-0, while Pato was successfully converting the penalty he earned 15 minutes later, for a safe 2-0 lead into half time.
Beijing quickly turned things around after ten minutes into the second half with Xizhe Zhang’s (50′) and Yang Yu’s (56′) goals bringing things level, 2-2 with half an hour remaining.
Neither team could come up with a solution and with possession at 50% for each, Tianjin and Beijing shared a point and both stayed at 3rd at 7th place respectively.
Quanjian travels at Changchun next to face Yatai on August 20th.
