• This is the first time that I’ve come to see «Zenit» and I really liked it. I like basketball in general and when I can I watch matches in the NBA. I think that «Zenit» is playing at a really high level.
— Rondon said that his favorite player is Michael Jordan. Do you have any idols in basketball?
• Of course. Jordan is a legend. For me right now the best player is definitely Lebron James. He’s got everything that you need to become a legend and be right up there with Jordan.
— Did you yourself every play basketball?
• Yeah, when I was in Belgium and still just a little kid. But I prefer football of course. It’s worked out better for me.
— What do you think of the atmosphere here?
• It’s incredible! The stands were not completely full today, but I think that with a little bit of time, maybe 4 or 5 months, it’ll sell out.t>
